Thank you for your service, but …
Posted on November 13, 2008 | Filed Under In My Opinion...
In what has to rank as one of the most unbelievably stupid, ignorant, and PC run amok cases in recent memory, a Marine veteran has been barred from entering Arlington National Cemetery to visit the grave of his son because he has a few decals on his vehicle that the Army finds “objectionable.”
Absolutely incredible story.
Lawsuit filed in defence of Marine vet’s anti-Islam decals
A father of one of the 17 sailors killed in the 2000 USS Cole terrorism attack has been banned from visiting his son’s grave at the Arlington National Cemetery. Jesse Nieto, a 25-year Marine veteran, has been banned because of displaying “offensive material” such as decals which say “Remember the Cole, 12 Oct 2000,” “Islam=Terrorism” and “We Died, They Rejoiced.”
From the Catholic News Agency
“Ann Arbor, Nov 13, 2008 / 06:56 am (CNA).- A Marine veteran whose anti-terrorist and anti-Islam vehicle decals hindered him in visiting the grave of his fallen son at Arlington National Cemetery has filed a federal lawsuit challenging the military order which rebuked his display of the decals.
Jesse Nieto, a 25-year Marine veteran, served two combat tours in Vietnam. His youngest son, Marc, was one of the seventeen sailors killed in the terrorist bombing of the U.S.S. Cole in October of 2000.
Since 1994 Nieto has been a civilian employee at the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. In 2001 he began displaying various decals on his vehicle expressing sentiments such as “Remember the Cole, 12 Oct 2000,” “Islam=Terrorism” and “We Died, They Rejoiced.”
On July 31, 2008, two military police officers ticketed Nieto for displaying “offensive material.”

Bush blows it … AGAIN. As usual?

But the wonderful Michelle Malkin has the story - and it’s not pretty.
Obama’s illegal alien auntie: The rest of the story
by Michelle Malkin

I hope Barack Obama remembered to thank George Bush on behalf of his illegal alien aunt this week. The lame-duck Republican president did the Democratic president-elect a generous — and dangerous — favor right before Election Day: Putting politics above homeland security, the Bush administration ordered immigration authorities across the country to halt all deportation enforcement actions until after the campaign season was over.
According to my sources, the Bush administration issued a 72-hour cease-and-desist order to all fugitive apprehension teams to spare Obama embarrassment over his Kenyan half-aunt, Zeituni Onyango. The Associated Press had reported on Nov. 1 that Onyango was a deportation evader – one of an estimated 700,000 illegal alien absconders who have ignored orders from immigration judges to leave the country. The wire report mentioned that the Department of Homeland Security distributed “an unusual nationwide directive within Immigrations and Customs Enforcement requiring any deportations prior to Tuesday’s election to be approved at least at the level of ICE regional directors.”
But the politicized order was even worse than the AP reported. The deportation process wasn’t simply slowed down for public relations reasons and fear of a media backlash. The process was completely frozen.
An Immigration and Customs Enforcement source familiar with Western field offices told me: “The ICE fugitive operations group throughout the U.S. was told to stand down until after the election from arresting or transporting anyone out of the U.S. This was done to avoid any mistakes of deporting or arresting anyone who could have a connection to the election, i.e., anyone from Kenya who could be a relative. The decision was election-driven.” MORE…

Veterans Day 2008
Posted on November 10, 2008 | Filed Under In My Opinion...
Today - the 11th day of the 11th month - is officially recognized as Veterans day. This is the day we recognize the sacrifices of the men and women who answered the call and served our nation. Some made the ultimate sacrifice, and gave their lives. Others returned - not always to marching bands and applause. But to the vast majority of Americans they are our heroes. We are free because our their unselfish sacrifices. For this, we thank them.

LOYALTY?
Posted on November 10, 2008 | Filed Under In My Opinion...
Hey - we’re talking the politics of RACE here - not “loyalty.” It has been said that the endorsement by Powell is what helped put the “undecideds” (unEducated?) into Zeros corner and put him over the top. After all - he was a “great military leader”, a “famous General”, and all that, right? Would not a military man have endorsed McCain if he was indeed the better man? So sayeth the left when talking about Powell - a man, it should be remembered, who the left excoriated numerous times as an Uncle Tom, traitor to blacks, and tool of the Republican party. A-ha - but that was BO (Before Obama). How quickly the left turns.
Recall also that I spoke about Powell in the same way as the following comment I am pasting here.
Colin Powell - politician, not fighting General
Colin Powell was a two-star General in the mid-80s until he was picked by Reagan’s Secretary of Defense to become his military aide. Powell had commanded a brigade in the 101st Airborne Division as a colonel, but nothing higher so it was very unusual for him to achieve Major General (two stars) without a Division command unless he had some other factor going for him…probably affirmative action.
Working for Casper Weinberger, Powell made a name for himself and was sent to Europe to command a small Army Corps consisting of two divisions for the shortest time possible to get that ticket punched. This was unusual in that most Corps Commanders served in those positions for a minimum of two years. Powell then returned to Washington, DC to serve in another politically related position.
As Reagan left office, George Bush the elder liked what he had seen of General Powell and nominated him for a fourth star and assignment to be the first black Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. This appointment, as it turned out, coincided with Desert Shield and Desert Storm Operations. While Norman Schwarzkopf planned and conducted the battles in the Middle East, Powell’s primary mission was political (i.e. keep the politicians away from the military so as not to repeat the mistakes of Vietnam). Not a difficult job with Bush the elder in the White House. He too knew the lessons of Vietnam.
Now comes George Bush the junior. On January 20, 2001, “W” nominated Powell to be 65th Secretary of State and he was quickly confirmed and sworn in. Again, a Republican President moved Colin Powell to the head of the class.
To make a long story short, it was three different Republican Presidents who brought Powell from obscurity and into the hi ghest levels of the U.S. Government. It was Republican Presidents who made him what he is and put him in the position he’s in today. He owes his wealth, experience, and many contacts in government to Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush.
If there is one thing a career Army Officer should know, it’s loyalty. Being part of the team, working toward the same goals, and going above and beyond the call of duty are all part of serving and being a leader. Colin Powell apparently learned none of that. He only learned to take, take, and take again as he rose in stature. Now he had a chance to work with a man he has known for years, a genuine war hero, an eminently qualified Republican Presidential candidate, and he turned his back.
Instead he chose a man who cavorts with known terrorists, who sat in church for 20 years listening to his preacher damn America, who donated $830,000 to a group working to fraudul ently register every possible illegal voter they could find (often more than once), a man and his close associates who hate the military, and a man who has stated that his economic policies will be socialist at a minimum.
Colin Powell’s page in history has yet to be written, but there will no longer be accolades, bells and whistles. He has chosen a path that will lead to his ruin because the crowd in which he has cast his lot will wear him like a cheap suit and disaard him at the first opportunity. Mark my words, Powell has chosen a road to political ruin.
Senator John Douglas
So much for “loyalty”, eh General?

Happy 233rd Birthday United States Marine Corps!

To all my Marine friends … Semper Fi!
10 November 2008
On 10 November 1775, the Second Continental Congress resolved to create two battalions of Continental Marines for the War of Independence from Britain. In 1798, President John Adams signed the Act establishing the United States Marine Corps.
It is the soldier, not the reporter,
Who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet,
Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus [or community] organizer,
Who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier, who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.

John McCain. Loser. Jerk.
Posted on November 8, 2008 | Filed Under In My Opinion...
“Game on”, as they say. Not content to giving an election - and control of our government and liberties for the next 4 years at least - to a Socialist prick, John McCain and his “aides” - anonymous as they are - are spreading rumors that Governor Palin is the real reason McCain lost the election, by virtue of the fact that she was too inexperienced and ignorant of International affairs. Isn’t that nice of them? McCain, as is his wont, steps aside and doesn’t say a word to contradict his “aides” snide remarks. To my mind, that makes him worse than the scumbags spreading (anonymously) these ridiculous rumors, and confirms his reputation as one willing to toss friends to the wolves to cover his ass.
Remember some of my posts prior to his selection of Sarah Palin as his VP running mate? I said many times I didn’t like this guy or his policies, didn’t like his choice of RINO buddies (weasel Lindsey Graham? WTF?),and in general considered him a lying SOB despite his service to our country. So lets get that straight right away. Like many others who call themselves either Republicans or Conservatives - I decided to hold my nose and vote for him (despite many misgivings) ONLY because of Sarah Palin, not to mention the fact that this is what the GOP hung around our necks. Again. Another George Bush (Senior AND Junior). That was the best they could do for our support over the years. Thanks so very God damn much, GOP. RINO’s the lot of them, with very few exceptions. We voted for McCain because of Sarah, and because we, as usual, had no choice. It was either a self loving Socialist/Marxist or a RINO who approved and voted for policies abhorrent to the vast majority of Republicans and especially Conservatives.
McCain-Feingold. Amnesty for illegals. Buddy of Ted Kennedy (WTF?)
Give us a break here. And now … now that he wanted to “play nice” and not attack Obama’s racist and Marxist friends and ideas … he blames the one person who gave him any chance at all of winning the election. Classy. Real classy. This guy disgusts me, and thank God we’ll see no more of him until he starts kissing liberals asses in the new administration out of “bi-partisanship.” Fuck that, you moron.
Palin denounces anonymous critics as ‘cowardly’
Nov 8, 7:07 AM (ET)
By DAN JOLING
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Gov. Sarah Palin denounced anonymous criticisms leveled at her by former John McCain aides as lies, including allegations that Republican lawyers were traveling to Alaska to reclaim her high-priced wardrobe and that she didn’t know Africa was a continent.
“Those accounts are not true,” the former Republican vice presidential candidate said in her first public comments on the matter since the election Tuesday.
Palin returned Friday to her Anchorage governor’s office and said she had no immediate plans to build on her newfound national name-recognition and popularity with the Republican base for a possible 2012 presidential run.
Instead, Palin said, she wanted only to get back to the governor’s desk to advance a proposed pipeline tapping Alaska’s vast North Slope natural gas reserves and to prepare Alaska’s proposed 2010 budget.
As for the vice presidential campaign, Palin denounced criticism from unidentified McCain campaign aides as “cowardly.” She said she found it frustrating trying to respond to false allegations when she didn’t know who was making them.
“It’s ridiculous,” she told reporters. “You guys report based on anonymous sources, so it’s hard to have a defense.”
One report said she and her family went on a shopping spree, spending more than the $150,000 in clothing that the Republican National Committee had earlier reported.
“The RNC purchased clothes,” Palin said.
“Those are the RNC’s clothes. They’re not my clothes. I never forced anybody to buy anything. I never asked for anything more than maybe a Diet Dr Pepper once in a while.”
The RNC will inventory clothing it purchased for her to account for dollars spent, she said. She scoffed at reports that the RNC was sending lawyers to take back clothes from her home.
“It’s not happening. Nobody’s told me that they’re coming to my house to look through closets, to look through anything. The belly of the plane that had clothes in it, and those clothes being packed up and sent back by staffers, perhaps that’s what they’re talking about, but these aren’t attorneys.” MORE…
And Sarah herself answers the charges THUSLY
And now THIS. Secret Service. Sheesh…
Sarah Palin blamed by the US Secret Service
over death threats against Barack Obama
Sarah Palin’s attacks on Barack Obama’s patriotism provoked a spike in death threats against the future president, Secret Service agents revealed during the final weeks of the campaign.
Tim Shipman in Washington
08 Nov 2008
Sarah Palin’s attacks on Barack Obama’s patriotism provoked a spike in death threats against the future president, Secret Service agents revealed during the final weeks of the campaign.
The Republican vice presidential candidate attracted criticism for accusing Mr Obama of “palling around with terrorists”, citing his association with the sixties radical William Ayers. Well - she was correct!
The attacks provoked a near lynch mob atmosphere at her rallies, with supporters yelling “terrorist” and “kill him” until the McCain campaign ordered her to tone down the rhetoric. LIES, and stated as such by the same Secret Service
But it has now emerged that her demagogic tone may have unintentionally encouraged white supremacists to go even further.
The Secret Service warned the Obama family in mid October that they had seen a dramatic increase in the number of threats against the Democratic candidate, coinciding with Mrs Palin’s attacks.
Michelle Obama, the future First Lady, was so upset that she turned to her friend and campaign adviser Valerie Jarrett and said: “Why would they try to make people hate us?” She’s kidding, right?

We’re just getting started, Barack
Posted on November 8, 2008 | Filed Under In My Opinion...
So the story now is the dimmies are saying we - conservatives, losers - should “give the new President a chance before criticizing him.” I guess they mean like they did when Bush was elected. First of all, this narcissist egomaniac is not the “President-Elect”, as his kool-aid drinking myrmidons are saying. Until the Electoral College meets and votes - he is just (still) a “Candidate”, so let’s stop the bullshit with the “Office of the President Elect” lecterns, shall we? Imagine if Bush did something like that - the media and the Gorebots would be suffering from exploding heads. It doesn’t exist, dumbasses.
By a narrow margin - slightly more than Bush beat Gore by (causing more lefty heads to explode) - Obama is the presumptive winner of the election. That’s all. Bush was no sooner declared the winner in 2000 and 2004 and these cretins were already starting their policy of derangement. “He stole the election!” “He’s not MY President!” “He was a draft dodger and a drunk!” You cut him lots of slack, didn’t you? And you demand we extend best wishes and congratulations to your guy?
I Don’t Think So. In fact - we’re only getting started.
And tell me … when will Bill Ayers visit the White House for dinner? When will you insist he get a security clearance (or will you just fill him in off the record?) When will Jeremiah Wright make an appearance? Dare he administer the oath of office on January 20, 2009? What will be his first attack on our Constitution - the one he said just “gets in the way of progress”?
To borrow your phrase … “He’s not MY President”, so piss off, all of you assholes. It’s just starting, so get used to it.
Barack Obama, Fabian Socialist
By Jerry Bowyer
Barack Hussein Obama is a Fabian socialist. I should know; I was raised by one. My Grandfather worked as a union machinist for Ingersoll Rand during the day. In the evenings he tended bar and read books. After his funeral, I went back home and started working my way through his library, starting with T.W. Arnold’s The Folklore of Capitalism. This was my introduction to the Fabian socialists.
Fabians believed in gradual nationalization of the economy through manipulation of the democratic process. Breaking away from the violent revolutionary socialists of their day, they thought that the only real way to effect “fundamental change” and “social justice” was through a mass movement of the working classes presided over by intellectual and cultural elites. Before TV it was stage plays, written by George Bernard Shaw and thousands of inferior “realist” playwrights dedicated to social change. John Cusack’s character in Woody Allen’s “Bullets Over Broadway” captures the movement rather well.
Arnold taught me to question everyone–my president, my priest and my parents. Well, almost everyone. I wasn’t supposed to question the Fabian intellectuals themselves. That’s the Fabian MO, relentless cultural and journalistic attacks on everything that is, and then a hard pitch for the hope of what might be.
That’s Obama’s world. MORE…

UAV Predator Strikes 2 Alqaeda Safe Houses
with Hellfire missiles In Iraq
General Petraeus went to Pakistan to discuss the war. Pakistani officials gave Petraeus an earful about US Predator missile strikes that destroy “precious lives and property”. Petraeus replied that the US Predator missile strikes target top terrorist leaders. This morning a Predator drone killed up to 13 terrorists in North Waziristan. Oops. Anything else you guys would like to talk about? Clue … if you don’t kill them … we will. Like THIS.
Say “buh-bye” now, Achmed! Oh … watch the film of these “precious lives and property”. Notice anything interesting? Like maybe a half dozen secondary explosions? I guess they were saving some fireworks for a celebration of some sort, eh?
Not any more they’re not.

It’s started already. Big surprise!
Posted on November 4, 2008 | Filed Under In My Opinion...
Yup - as predicted, those wonderful “in their face” Obamabots have already taken their Messiah at his word. Already, reports of voter intimidation and shenanigans are pouring in.
In Philladelphia, Fox News was on the scene as two Black Panthers barred access to a polling place to white voters, saying “We’re tired of white supremacy - Obama is going to win this election one way of the other.” Said, by the way, while slapping his hand with a police type billy club. Nope - nothing intimidating their!
In Pittsburg and other cities around PA, GOP poll workers - authorized by a court ruling - have been systematically removed from polling places, while DEM poll watchers have been left alone. I guess they want to make sure nobody sees them perpetrating more voter fraud? They are also scared shitless John Murtha’s re-election bid will get shot down as well as Obama’s.
Shocked, I tell you - I’m just shocked by this! /sarcasm=OFF
Not content to rig elections the usual DEM way - by having dead people vote; nor by having some people registering to vote multiple times under ficticious names and addresses - the DEMs now resort to common thuggery. Another surprise.
And of course the main reason for this nitwits popularity among “his people” is what he says he will give them … as evidenced by the following video.
There will be war in this country if these 3rd and 4th generation welfare scumbags get more money from hardworking citizens. The Second Civil War is coming, and this time it won’t be to rescue the blacks from slavery - it will be the whites turn.

Wisdom from the pages of “Patriot Post”
Posted on October 31, 2008 | Filed Under In My Opinion...
Doctor Thomas Sowell speaks on “race”.
“There is another factor at work in this year’s election that makes polls and predictions more unreliable than usual. That factor is race. Barack Obama’s string of victories in early Democratic primaries against far better known white candidates shows that large segments of the American population have moved beyond race. It is Barack Obama and his supporters who have hyped race, after his large lead in the polls began to shrink or evaporate, as more of the facts about his checkered career came out. Almost any criticism of Obama has been equated with racism, even if there is no connection that can be seen under a microscope. Barack Obama himself started this trend when he warned that his opponents were going to try to scare the public with various charges, including a statement, ‘And did I say he was black?’ McCain said no such thing. Palin said no such thing. But those who support Obama—and this includes much of the media—are acting as if they just know that this is the underlying message. Congressman John Lewis has likened Senator McCain to George Wallace. Congressman John Murtha has condemned a whole section of the state of Pennsylvania as ‘racists’ because they seem reluctant to jump on the Obama bandwagon. Senator Harry Reid has claimed that linking Obama to deposed and disgraced Fannie Mae CEO Franklin Raines is racist, since they are both black—as if the financial and political connection between the two does not exist. Much is being made of the fact that, in past elections, some white voters who told pollsters that they are going to vote for a black candidate did not in fact do so, so that a black candidate with a lead in the polls ended up losing on election day. This is supposed to show how much covert racism there is. It might instead show that people don’t want to be considered racists by pollsters because they are leaning toward someone other than the black candidate. In other words, the media themselves helped create the charged atmosphere in which some people give misleading answers to pollsters to avoid being stigmatized.” —Thomas Sowell
The “Gipper” speaks the truth.
“The most dangerous myth is the demagoguery that business can be made to pay a larger share, thus relieving the individual. Politicians preaching this are either deliberately dishonest, or economically illiterate, and either one should scare us. Business doesn’t pay taxes, and who better than business to make this message known? Only people pay taxes, and people pay as consumers every tax that is assessed against a business. Begin with the food and fiber raised in the farm, to the ore drilled in a mine, to the oil and gas from out of the ground, whatever it may be—through the processing, through the manufacturing, on out to the retailer’s license. If the tax cannot be included in the price of the product, no one along that line can stay in business.” —Ronald Reagan
Common sense from the Dem side?
“These are facts. This financial crisis was completely preventable. The party that blocked any attempt to prevent it was… the Democratic Party. The party that tried to prevent it was… the Republican Party. Yet when Nancy Pelosi accused the Bush administration and Republican deregulation of causing the crisis, you in the press did not hold her to account for her lie. Instead, you criticized Republicans who took offense at this lie and refused to vote for the bailout! What? It’s not the liar, but the victims of the lie who are to blame? Now let’s follow the money… right to the presidential candidate who is the number-two recipient of campaign contributions from Fannie Mae. And after Freddie Raines, the CEO of Fannie Mae who made $90 million while running it into the ground, was fired for his incompetence, one presidential candidate’s campaign actually consulted him for advice on housing. If that presidential candidate had been John McCain, you would have called it a major scandal and we would be getting stories in your paper every day about how incompetent and corrupt he was. But instead, that candidate was Barack Obama, and so you have buried this story, and when the McCain campaign dared to call Raines an ‘adviser’ to the Obama campaign—because that campaign had sought his advice—you actually let Obama’s people get away with accusing McCain of lying, merely because Raines wasn’t listed as an official adviser to the Obama campaign. You would never tolerate such weasely nit-picking from a Republican. If you who produce our local daily paper actually had any principles, you would be pounding this story, because the prosperity of all Americans was put at risk by the foolish, short-sighted, politically selfish, and possibly corrupt actions of leading Democrats, including Obama.” —Orson Scott Card, Democrat columnist

Fred Thompson on Obama
Posted on October 30, 2008 | Filed Under In My Opinion...
Finally with some fire in his belly!
I wish to God Fred had spoken like this before the nominations. Perhaps then people would have seen he was serious and did, indeed, have the fire needed to run and win. This video has it all, and all needed saying. It needs to be seen by the public at large on a major venue, as it’s not just another hysterical rant of doom and gloom - it states the facts as any intelligent person knows them.
The time is short, folks. Grab the URL link off the video and email this to everyone right thinking person you know. Hell - send it to every left leaning person you know! Tit for tat, right? Make a pest of yourself the same as they have been doing at the Zero’s urging. You know…”I want you to get in their faces, get on their blogs …” Go to it … but watch the video first.

Anti-American Bastards
Posted on October 30, 2008 | Filed Under In My Opinion...
Who? I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again … and keep on saying it. Google and it’s affiliate YouTube, that’s who.
The two creeps who own this company outright - two punkass kids - are anti-American scumbags. Despite charges by such as Senator Joe Lieberman - who appears to be one of the few Senators actually possessing a pair of balls - that YouTube knowingly provides the means for (other) America haters (whabists/jihadists) to post their depraved videos of American forces in Iraq and Afghanistan being blown up and abused by IED’s and such. At the same time, videos of murder by these Islamic swine are deleted and accounts suspended. Case in point the video I posted last week right here on this blog of the murder of innocent Iraqi citizens by Shi’a “insurgents.” Gone. Deleted as a “violation of community guidlines” because it was “too violent.”
It was indeed - it showed graphically the kind of enemy we are fighting. I knew that going in, and in fact expected the video to be flagged by these same Islamic scumbags.
But the funny thing is it was not flagged by anyone, and in fact got a number of positive comments from viewers saying all Americans ought to see the video to see what we are fighting. But still - after only ONE DAY online - YouTube removes the video and suspends my account for 11 days. Curious. And meanwhile thousands of despicable anti-American videos, Islamic recruitment videos (prohibited by law), and the like REMAIN online despite being flagged daily by members of “YouTube Smackdown.”
Why does Google-YouTube allow this garbage to remain basically untouched? Why do they claim “1st Amendment” issues, when the posters are not American citizens and are in fact posting from locations in the Middle East and name their videos things like “Fuck America!” or “Die American soldiers.” I’ll tell you why … because these two scumbags who own this company are filth.
Google Maps is another example. Try entering your home address in Google Maps and clicking on “Street View.” What do you see? IN my case, my home and vehicles parked in my driveway. My license plates and name plates are clearly visible. Complain about your privacy, as I did, and you get an email saying “we will look into it” and that’s all. No change. So apparently these mutts think that privacy rights don’t apply to their little games - just ours. Bullshit.
My policy is “JUST SAY NO TO GOOGLE-YOUTUBE”
BOYCOTT YOUTUBE!

Obama - Ayers - Weather Underground - Commies

Obama’s friends - Ayers, Dohrn - Admitted Commies
I found an extremely interesting and troubling article posted by a previously unknown to me site named ZombieTime. The article in question concerened a manifesto written by the Weather Underground, in the persons of William Ayers (Obama’s buddy), his wife Bernadine Dohrn, and others. The name of the book they wrote is “Prarie Fire”, some of which is printed below, along with a link to the ZombieTime site.
Of particular interest to me, by virtue of my time in the NYPD during the turbulent period of the late 60’s-early 70’s, is their mention of the various targets they admit to have attacked (bombed). You will recall that Ayers - unrepentant as ever - said he didn’t feel they “did enough”. He also said “nobody was killed” as a result of their attacks. That is bullshit, as I have listed previously. At least 12 deaths are the direct result of Weather Underground bombings and attacks. Note the GRAPHIC listing targets of attacks.
Here is but a small, but pertinent, part of the text, and the link to the full article HERE
“Sisters and brothers,
Here is PRAIRIE FIRE, our political ideology - a strategy for anti-imperialism and revolution inside the imperial US. It comes out of our own practice of the last five years and reflects a diversity of experiences. This paper is not the product of one or two people, nor even a small handful of us. Rather PRAIRIE FIRE represents the politics and collective efforts of an organization. It has been the focus of our study groups and our political education. It has been chewed on and shaped in countless conversations, struggles and written pages. It has travelled around the country, growing, developing thru the attempt to understand the shape of world forces and the revolutionary possibilities before us. The paper was rewritten four times and collectively adopted as the political statement of the Weather Underground. The twelve-month process of writing PRAIRIE FIRE, squeezed between on-going work and practice and action, has now reached a kind of end-point. A cycle is done.
We undertook this analysis to explain the changes in US and world conditions since the Vietnam ceasefire and to evaluate the consequences of the Vietnamese victory. We have come some distance in evaluating the political situation, the priorities for revolutionary work since we began this writing. Now many more revolutionaries will need to shape and change the paper. The politics cannot be realized unless and until the content of the program is activated in thousands of situations, among thousands of people in the coming period. PRAIRIE FIRE will be a growing thing.
[…]
PRAIRIE FIRE is written to communist-minded revolutionaries, independent organizers and anti-imperialists; those who carry the traditions and lessons of the struggles of the last decade, those who join in the struggles of today. PRAIRIE FIRE is written to all sisters and brothers who are engaged in armed struggle against the enemy. It is written to prisoners, women’s groups, collectives, study groups, workers’ organizing committees, communes, GI organizers, consciousness-raising groups, veterans, community groups and revolutionaries of all kinds; to all who will read, criticize and bring its content to life in practice. It is written as an argument against those who oppose action and hold back the struggle.
PRAIRIE FIRE is based on a belief that the duty of a revolutionary is to make the revolution. This is not an abstraction. It means that revolutionaries must make a profound commitment to the future of humanity, apply our limited knowledge and experience to understand an ever-changing situation, organize the masses of people and build the fight. It means that struggle and risk and hard work and adversity will become our way of life, that the only certainty will be constant change, that the only possibilities are victory or death.
We have only begun. At this time, the unity and consolidation of anti-imperialist forces around a revolutionary program is an urgent and pressing strategic necessity. PRAIRIE FIRE is offered as a contribution to this unity of action and purpose. Now it is in your hands.

“The BEST of the black church”

He was for him, before he was against him
So sayeth the Prophet Obama, referencing Jeremiah Wright, way back in 1995. Must have been when Obama was “only 25 years old” or something, huh? Praised as “my MENTOR”, he was. Of course he later denied Wright was that close to him or influenced his views. He says. Riiiiight.

Scum Murtha going down?
Posted on October 28, 2008 | Filed Under In My Opinion...
We can hope and pray. This piece of garbage who claims to be a hero Marine - who is not fit to shine the shoes of the lowliest of the low, the basic Recruit - doesn’t deserve to represent the people of Pennsylvania. His challenger is retired US Army LtCol Bill Russell - and by all indications and polls has passed the despicable scum Murtha in all the statewide polling. Pray for him and if possible send him some money, because we know damned well the lefties are going to pull out all the stops in an effort to keep this trash in office. Visit Col Russell’s WEBSITE and help support him!
HotAir got an exclusive from the Veterans For Freedom - a video being released Wednesday in support of Russell.

The “United Nations” (sic) for Obama
Posted on October 27, 2008 | Filed Under In My Opinion...
Of course they are - you’d think otherwise? He’s already said he will spend trillions of dollars to “assist less fortunate” countries via the UN. More money from Uncle Sam. OUR Money - not Obama’s money - to a bunch of leeches to which we already pay more than any other member country.
At the U.N., Many Hope for an Obama Win
By Colum Lynch
Washington Post Staff Writer
Sunday, October 26, 2008; A17
UNITED NATIONS — There are no “Obama 2008″ buttons, banners or T-shirts visible here at U.N. headquarters, but it might be difficult to find a sliver of territory in the United States more enthusiastic over the prospect of the Illinois senator winning the White House.
An informal survey of more than two dozen U.N. staff members and foreign delegates showed that the overwhelming majority would prefer that Sen. Barack Obama win the presidency, saying they think that the Democrat would usher in a new agenda of multilateralism after an era marked by Republican disdain for the world body.
Obama supporters hail from Russia, Canada, France, Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Indonesia and elsewhere. One American employee here seemed puzzled that he was being asked whether Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) was even a consideration. “Obama was and is unstoppable,” the official said. “Please, God, let him win,” he added.
“It would be hard to find anybody, I think, at the U.N. who would not believe that Obama would be a considerable improvement over any other alternative,” said William H. Luers, executive director of the United Nations Association. “It’s been a bad eight years, and there is a lot of bad feeling over it.”
Conservatives who are skeptical of the United Nations said they are not surprised by the political tilt.
“The fact is that most conservatives, most Republicans don’t worship at the altar in New York, and I think that aggravates them more than anything else,” said John R. Bolton, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. “What they want is the bending of the knee, and they’ll get it from an Obama administration.”
The candidates have said little about their plans for the United Nations, but Obama has highlighted his desire to pursue diplomacy more assertively than the Bush administration, whereas McCain has called for the establishment of a league of democracies, which many here fear is code for sidelining the United Nations. Making an “End Run” around the courts and Constitution.
Posted on October 27, 2008 | Filed Under In My Opinion...
This one has gone “viral” around the net - except for certain sites of the “liberal persuasion.”
Obama’s cover blown. He’s a Marxist
“Redistribution of wealth”, “reparations”, the whole 9 yards. Spoken by the Zero hisownself. Yada yada yada. Tne Bill Ayers philosophy 101. Watch the damned video and ask yourself why the MSM hasn’t said a word about this one. Oh - you have to ask? Silly wabbit.
Michelle Malkin says the following:
“The blogosphere is buzzing about this video posted on YouTube Sunday night. It’s Barack Obama musing about how best to redistribute wealth in America in a Chicago Public Radio interview in 2001.”
“Not whether, but how: Through the courts or through legislation?”
“A caller asks The One to explain how he would do “reparative economic work.” Obama gives the legislative route two thumbs up as his preferred method of “breaking free of the constraints” placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution and then burbles about cobbling together the “actual coalition of powers through which you bring about redistributive change.”
The bottom line from Jeff Goldstein:
In Obama’s America, we’ll finally be able to break free of the “constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution” — and in so doing, achieve “social justice” through “redistributive change.”
Well, then. Fine. But this is not the America I knew…

The Jewish vote for Obama?
Posted on October 26, 2008 | Filed Under In My Opinion...
Jim Hoft at gateway Pundit has the story on a video that - if seen - could well blow the lid off Obama’s tightly controlled background.
Confirmed: MSM Holds Video Of Barack Obama Attending Jew-Bash & Toasting a Former PLO Operative… Refuse to Release the Video!
The LA Times is holding a video that shows Barack Obama celebrating with a group of Palestinians who are openly hostile towards Israel. Barack Obama even gives a toast to a former PLO operative at this celebration. If the American public saw this side of Barack Obama he would never be elected president. But, the media refuses to release this video.
LA Times writer Peter Wallsten wrote about Barack Obama’s close association with former Palestinian operative Rashid Khalidi back in April.
Wallsten discussed a dinner held back in 2003 in honor of Khalidi, a critic of Israel and advocate for Palestinian rights. Barack Obama has denied his close association with Khalidi, too.
According to Wallsten the evening not surprisingly turned into a classic Jew-bash:
“During the dinner a young Palestinian American recited a poem accusing the Israeli government of terrorism in its treatment of Palestinians and sharply criticizing U.S. support of Israel. If Palestinians cannot secure their own land, she said, “then you will never see a day of peace.”
One speaker likened “Zionist settlers on the West Bank” to Osama bin Laden, saying both had been “blinded by ideology.”
Barack Obama also praised the former PLO operative during the event. And, Obama confessed that his family often shared dinner with the Khalidis:
His many talks with the Khalidi’s, Obama said, had been “consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases… It’s for that reason that I’m hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation — a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid’s dinner table,” but around “this entire world.”
The event was videotaped, and a copy of the tape was obtained by The Times. They REFUSE to release the video to the public.
Khalidi and the Obamas were great friends in Chicago and often shared meals together. By the way, Khalidi was also best friends with Bill Ayers.
