Ron Paul & Judge Napolitano on Glenn Beck: Bernanke to be Renominated?
Posted on December 6, 2009 | Filed Under Politics, Culture, Military, Opinions, Law Enforcement
As surprising as it might be (to me as well, btw) I am becoming increasingly more Libertarian in my views. It seems to me the Conservative movement has been and continues to be usurped by fundamentalist Christians intent on a single agenda at the expense of any other. Mind you - I am a Christian in the broader sense, being born, baptized, and raised a Presbyterian. Moreover - some of my dearest friends are Southern Baptists. That does not mean that I agree with every tenet of the church - I don’t agree with abortion for any reason, but I am not anti-gay or anti “marriage” between same sex couples. Live and let live there.
But to the point of Libertarians, I find myself agreeing with almost all of the tenets of the party save for the legalization of any and all drugs by adults. As a retired cop I well know the effects of narcotics on individuals and society. I understand the fact that they are illegal helps create an atmosphere of violence. I agree a persons body is theres to destroy if they so wish. I disagree vehemently with the so-called “War on Drugs” - which to my thinking is a colossal waste of police resources better spent in other areas. I increasingly agree with the Libertarian position of not being the police agency of the world, bringing ALL our troops home from wherever they are, and using them to guard our own borders. I am looking into other positions of the party and have yet to make a firm commitment to their principals, but it’s evident I view them much more positively than in the past.

ACORN/SIEU? No - Soros
Posted on December 5, 2009 | Filed Under Politics, Opinions
That’s right - already those scumbags on the left that the GOP/NRCC wants to “make nice” too are up to their usual skullduggery. This time plans are already underway by the Hungarian Nazi sympathizer George Soros and his leftist buddies to assure Zero doesn’t get blown out of the White House in 2012. Seems Soros and company have hatched another one of their plans to capture votes by seeding Secretaries of State in critical states who can thus influence/steal votes from other candidates. This is known to already exist in a few states and of course the totally useless NRCC does absolutely nothing. Let the revolution begin.
Soros Eyes Secretaries
By Matthew Vadum on 12.4.09
American Spectator
History’s most notorious Georgian-turned-Russian, the politically astute Joseph Stalin once remarked, “The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.”
The lesson has not been lost on the increasingly notorious Hungarian-cum-American George Soros.
A group backed by Soros is gearing up to steal the 2012 election for President Obama and congressional Democrats by installing left-wing Democrats as secretaries of state across the nation. From such posts, secretaries of state can help tilt the electoral playing field.

Boxer: Hackers should face criminal probe over ‘Climategate’
By Michael O’Brien - 12/02/09 03:26 PM ET
Leaked e-mails allegedly undermining climate change science should be treated as a criminal matter, Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) said Wednesday afternoon.
Boxer, the top Democrat on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, said that the recently released e-mails, showing scientists allegedly overstating the case for climate change, should be treated as a crime.
“You call it ‘Climategate’; I call it ‘E-mail-theft-gate,’” she said during a committee meeting. “Whatever it is, the main issue is, Are we facing global warming or are we not? I’m looking at these e-mails, that, even though they were stolen, are now out in the public.”

It appears I’m not the only one unimpressed by the Obama speech on Afghanistan.
Searching in Vain for the Obama Magic
By Gabor Steingart
der Speigel
12/02/2009
Never before has a speech by President Barack Obama felt as false as his Tuesday address announcing America’s new strategy for Afghanistan. It seemed like a campaign speech combined with Bush rhetoric — and left both dreamers and realists feeling distraught.
One can hardly blame the West Point leadership. The academy commanders did their best to ensure that Commander-in-Chief Barack Obama’s speech would be well-received.
Just minutes before the president took the stage inside Eisenhower Hall, the gathered cadets were asked to respond “enthusiastically” to the speech. But it didn’t help: The soldiers’ reception was cool.
One didn’t have to be a cadet on Tuesday to feel a bit of nausea upon hearing Obama’s speech. It was the least truthful address that he has ever held. He spoke of responsibility, but almost every sentence smelled of party tactics. He demanded sacrifice, but he was unable to say what it was for exactly.

Another end run around the law by Holder!
Posted on November 27, 2009 | Filed Under Politics, Opinions
… who is (unfortunately) the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the United States, and aren’t we lucky to have such a fine, upstanding disciple of the law to protect our interests! Not. I mean really - does this scumbag have any clue at all? Does he NOT understand the will of the people and Congress? Does he NOT get that this bunch of crooks in ACORN are felons who have no business getting federal money to propagate their illegal schemes? Even the liberal Congress for crissakes, demanded their funding be stopped! But does Holder care? Of course not - Zero wants the people who are mainly responsible for ballot “irregularities” That allowed his victory to be funded, so that’s all he cares about. Forget the minor inconveniences of something like the law! This prick has got to go.
Justice Dept. Says Acorn Can Be Paid
By CHARLIE SAVAGE
November 27, 2009
WASHINGTON — The Justice Department has concluded that the Obama administration can lawfully pay the community group Acorn for services provided under contracts signed before Congress enacted a law banning the government from providing funds to the group.
The department’s conclusion, laid out in a recently disclosed five-page memorandum from David Barron, the acting assistant attorney general for the Office of Legal Counsel, adds a new wrinkle to a sharp political debate over the antipoverty group’s activities and recent efforts to distance the government from it.

Secret Service strikes again. Or not.
Posted on November 27, 2009 | Filed Under Politics, Opinions
Ain’t it grand? The vaunted Secret Service - protectors of the realm and all things political (if not Constitutional) - drops the ball and somehow allows two gate crashers through security and into the state dinner Zero tossed for the Indian PM the other night. How about that … the same guys who make special trips to private citizens homes to “investigate” possible “threats” (?) against the President (on a public blog?) and other “government officials” since Zero took over allows two idiots looking to make a name for themselves to waltz right into the White House. I feel so warm and fuzzy that our country is in such capable hands.
Makes one wonder (well - at least it makes ME wonder) what these guys were doing when a so-called “comedian” says on TV that the VP and his family should be stoned to death. Not a credible threat worth looking into, I guess. Nor were any of the dozens (hundreds?) of public statements by leftist moonbats that President Bush, VP Chaney, and other members of his administration should be killed. Funny how that works, huh? Bush = threats okay, Zero = INVESTIGATE CITIZENS! Schmucks. Pretty safe to assume these guys aren’t OathKeepers.
Secret Service: Crashers posed no danger to Obama
Nov 27, 8:28 AM (ET)
By LARRY MARGASAK
WASHINGTON (AP) - The Secret Service maintains that President Barack Obama was never in danger at a state dinner after an uninvited Virginia couple got through security, but it wouldn’t comment on whether anyone is screened for radiological or biological weapons.
Edwin Donovan, a Secret Service spokesman, said Thursday the agency doesn’t discuss the levels of security screening at the White House.

Holder is “utterly clueless”
Posted on November 25, 2009 | Filed Under Politics, Opinions, Law Enforcement
So says the esteemed pundit Charles Krauthammer, and I totally agree. Not only is Holder clueless - he’s a danger to this country and his so-called “Justice Department” is in the lead in the efforts to dismantle the United States Constitution. Don’t believe me? Do some reading - and not WaPo or daily Kos, or the “mainstream” media. I’m not here to do all your studying for you - I provide some leads to what’s going on with this band of thieves and Marxists currently running this government and pointing you in the direction to study. That’s all.
An interesting video at Real Clear Politics, with Charles explaining his rational is HERE.
Unfortunately they do not provide embedding code, so you have to go there to view it.
Now mind you I totally despise Senator Lindsey Graham. A first class RINO, is he, but he’s also a very experienced military lawyer. In the following video - he completely humiliates Holder, asking questions any AG should know immediately. Had this been a Bush AG we would not have heard the end of it for years.

Junk science=junk politics=Algore enriches himself
Posted on November 25, 2009 | Filed Under Culture, Opinions
Getting the idea now, kids? Those of us who spend some time actually educating ourselves on the issues instead of watching television “experts” and leftist politicians have been saying exactly this for how long now - years? Yeah - and despite all the rhetoric, disparaging comments, etc from the “true believers” like Algore - it turns out they were, as usual, LYING their asses off. To what end? To further destroy the United States, that’s what. Cap & Trade, “elimination of greenhouse gases”, no drilling for oil … all schemes to bankrupt America and diminish our strength in the world. Nice job, assholes!
Hiding evidence of global cooling
Junk science exposed among climate-change believers
Tuesday, November 24, 2009
By THE WASHINGTON TIMES
Scientific progress depends on accurate and complete data. It also relies on replication. The past couple of days have uncovered some shocking revelations about the baloney practices that pass as sound science about climate change.
It was announced Thursday afternoon that computer hackers had obtained 160 megabytes of e-mails from the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in England. Those e-mails involved communication among many scientific researchers and policy advocates with similar ideological positions all across the world. Those purported authorities were brazenly discussing the destruction and hiding of data that did not support global-warming claims.
Professor Phil Jones, the head of the Climate Research Unit, and professor Michael E. Mann at Pennsylvania State University, who has been an important scientist in the climate debate, have come under particular scrutiny. Among his e-mails, Mr. Jones talked to Mr. Mann about the “trick of adding in the real temps to each series … to hide the decline [in temperature].”

Down the tubes. RACISTS!
Posted on November 25, 2009 | Filed Under Politics, Opinions
I expect to hear the howls of indignation any second now - the ZERO is down - WAY down - in the polls in less than a year of his spectacularly divisive presidency, despite claims of the left that this moron is a “unifier” who will heal America’s problems. Right. Even moderate Dems are starting to rethink what this asshole is doing to not only the country, but the Constitutional principles that have led this nation for 234 years. I guess it must be RACISM!
Obama’s Approval Slide Finds Whites Down to 39%
Support has declined much more among whites than among nonwhites
by Jeffrey M. Jones
November 24, 2009
PRINCETON, NJ — Since the start of his presidency, U.S. President Barack Obama’s approval rating has declined more among non-Hispanic whites than among nonwhites, and now, fewer than 4 in 10 whites approve of the job Obama is doing as president.
Obama last week fell below 50% approval in Gallup Daily tracking for the first time in his presidency, both in daily three-day rolling averages and in Gallup Daily tracking results aggregated weekly.
“The only subgroup showing a greater change than whites is Republicans, down 24 points since Obama’s first full week in office.”
In his first full week in office (Jan. 26-Feb. 1), an average of 66% of Americans approved of the job Obama was doing, including 61% of non-Hispanic whites and 80% of nonwhites. In the most recent week, spanning Nov. 16-22 interviewing, his approval rating averaged 49% overall, 39% among whites, and 73% among nonwhites. Thus, since the beginning of his presidency, his support has dropped 22 points among whites, compared with a 7-point loss among nonwhites.
Given the 17-point drop in his approval rating among all U.S. adults, it follows that Obama’s support has declined among all major demographic and attitudinal subgroups, with one notable exception — blacks. [of course THAT is not racist]

Steve Crowder and guests + one leftist nut
Posted on November 24, 2009 | Filed Under Culture, Opinions
Okay - so it’s Crowder in one of his classic double part vids - it’s funny, and at the same time sad because it’s so true. More joyous occasions and family gathering have been ruined by the presence of the family loon than anything else. Herewith is Steves explanation:
It’s that time of year again. If you’ve got a leftist in your family, you can forget enjoying a familial celebration of the blessings bestowed upon you and your country. If you’re white, you’re particularly guilty. If you’re black like Zo, you’ll be referred to as nothing more than a “house negro” as seen in the YouTube comments section. The liberal Thanksgiving motto is as follows: Starve and be un-merry!

Ass-clown Ed Begley Jr. crashes and burns
Posted on November 24, 2009 | Filed Under Culture, Opinions
via Big Hollywoord.
It must be awful to be married to this raving lunatic. I occasionally watch “Living with Ed” on Verizon just to see what the lunatic will do to his poor wife. Living green is not, as Stuart Varney relates, not a crime or a bad thing. Conservation of resources is not in and of itself bad. It is the lunatic fringe of the left - best exemplified by Al Gore and nutjobs like Begley - who are the problem. So watch what happens when the usually mild-mannered and polite Stuart Varney encounters a totally psychotic Begley during an interview. Astounding.

Zero bows again … and loses more support

Obama Bows Before Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao

Internationally. Everyone knows this scumbag is nuts. His scraping and bowing to international despots is working directly the opposite of predictions by the left. They are, as usual, WRONG. The world wants to see a strong America no matter what they say. Their very survival depends on it and they know it! The enemies of freedom only understand one thing … strength. Along with that is the will to use it. Zero and the Dems don’t have it. Never did - never will. Nothing but punks and metro-sexuals.
Obama’s Nice Guy Act Gets Him Nowhere on the World Stage
By Gabor Steingart
Der Speigel
When he entered office, US President Barack Obama promised to inject US foreign policy with a new tone of respect and diplomacy. His recent trip to Asia, however, showed that it’s not working. A shift to Bush-style bluntness may be coming.
There were only a few hours left before Air Force One was scheduled to depart for the flight home. US President Barack Obama trip through Asia had already seen him travel 24,000 kilometers, sit through a dozen state banquets, climb the Great Wall of China and shake hands with Korean children. It was high time to take stock of the trip.
Barack Obama looked tired on Thursday, as he stood in the Blue House in Seoul, the official residence of the South Korean president. He also seemed irritable and even slightly forlorn. The CNN cameras had already been set up. But then Obama decided not to play along, and not to answer the question he had already been asked several times on his trip: what did he plan to take home with him? Instead, he simply said “thank you, guys,” and disappeared. David Axelrod, senior advisor to the president, fielded the journalists’ questions in the hallway of the Blue House instead, telling them that the public’s expectations had been “too high.”

Not so fast, Harry … not so fast
Posted on November 23, 2009 | Filed Under Politics, Opinions
It’s not a lock. Not by a longshot. Harry “Grumpy” Reid and Nancy “Botox” Pelosi seem to think the ObamaCare health plan is locked up and wrapped for Christmas. Uh … not so fast, kiddies - you need 60 votes to cram this deal through and it doesn’t look like you have it despite the bribery of government officials (that’s a Felony, kids) like Mary Landrieu of LA who was (and crowed about it) bribed to the tune of $300M of our tax money for her vote. But wait - there is a problem for Harry that he has not accounted for - the “maverick” Independent/Dem leaning Senator Joe Lieberman of CT. His vote would make 60, assuming every member of the Dem caucus bought into this travesty.
Lieberman Digs In on Public Option
NOVEMBER 24, 2009
Sen. Joseph Lieberman, speaking in that trademark sonorous baritone, utters a simple statement that translates into real trouble for Democratic leaders: “I’m going to be stubborn on this.”
Stubborn, he means, in opposing any health-care overhaul that includes a “public option,” or government-run health-insurance plan, as the current bill does. His opposition is strong enough that Mr. Lieberman says he won’t vote to let a bill come to a final vote if a public option is included.
Probe for a catch or caveat in that opposition, and none is visible. Can he support a public option if states could opt out of the plan, as the current bill provides? “The answer is no,” he says in an interview from his Senate office. “I feel very strongly about this.” How about a trigger, a mechanism for including a public option along with a provision saying it won’t be used unless private insurance plans aren’t spreading coverage far and fast enough? No again.
So any version of a public option will compel Mr. Lieberman to vote against bringing a bill to a final vote?
“Correct,” he says.

The health care debate - real world style
Posted on November 23, 2009 | Filed Under Culture, Opinions
One of my favorite magazines in the world is a little known, privately published mag named “Backwoods Home.” Decidely libertarian in views - pro-gun, pro-small government, pro personal responsibility, ANTI government looking over our shoulders every damned minute. My kind of folks, in other words. Listed among it’s contributors are such luminaries as Mas Ayoob of Lethal Force Institute - one of the premier firearms and defense tactics schools in the world. Ought to give you an idea of what these folks are all about. Another writer there who is extremely entertaining and on the money politically is John Silveira - of whom the following article from this months issue comes to us. This is a good one, but makes entirely too much sense to get much play in DC.
How to achieve affordable health care
By John Silveira
Backwoods Home Magazine
Despite all the hubbub about health care, the United States can have affordable health care tomorrow if we want it. There have been real solutions available, solutions that have been right under our noses for decades, but you don’t often hear about them and the prospects of getting them are rather grim unless the public is apprised of them. Today’s debates and town hall meetings have not been about reducing the overall cost of health care, but about who’s going to pay for it.
The system’s been broken for more than a century and neither leaving it as is nor going to socialized medicine is going to fix it. In fact, as the years go by, it’s likely to get worse. We must make ourselves aware of what the real cost drivers are in the upward spiraling costs of health care: that they are the results of actions by the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Bar Association (ABA), and the United States government.

ObamaCare anyone?

And some morons (mostly Democrats and various leeches) actually want this crap for America? This will, in my opinion, be the last straw for Americans who believe in our Constitutional Republic, before the socialists/Marxists like the Democrat Congress and Administration destroy it.
